Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has unveiled plans for significant infrastructure investments in the Brus municipality during his visit to the Rasina District. As part of this initiative, around €6 million is earmarked for road reconstruction, with the goal of completing the paving of 15 kilometers of roads by the end of October. This ambitious infrastructure program aims to enhance road access for nearly every village within the municipality.
In addition to the road projects, President Vučić announced the commencement of the Vignjište water-supply project, a €2 million endeavor, expected to begin by the end of the year. This development is part of broader efforts to improve local utilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing with a potential investor for establishing a new factory, which could generate approximately 200 jobs, underscoring the administration’s commitment to boosting local employment opportunities.
During his visit, Vučić also addressed the business community, particularly those involved in organic fruit processing. He highlighted the potential for government support in acquiring machinery, offering non-refundable funding of about €42,000, along with loans from the Development Fund at favorable fixed interest rates ranging from 2 to 2.5 percent. These measures are designed to foster business growth and innovation in the region.
Additionally, the Serbian President announced his upcoming attendance at the inauguration of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event marks another milestone in Serbia’s industrial and technological advancement efforts, underscoring the country’s commitment to modernizing its economy and creating new job opportunities through technological development.
