This achievement marks Serbia’s first appearance in the championship game since they last claimed the title in 2015. During the game, Serbia built a double-digit advantage, which peaked at an 18-point margin in the third quarter. Despite Spain’s late surge that reduced the gap to just three points, Serbia’s timely defensive maneuvers and a decisive three-pointer by Šuput ensured their path to victory remained unblocked.
